
I enjoyed these
pictures from the late 1930s . The only comments I have are that the guys pictured above do not seem like the type that would stampede a man to death at a Wal Mart in a mad rush to buy a TV. And that I still get the same looks that the captions bemoan near the end, even when holding doors open politely for ladies.
I like the barefoot kids from Indiana. The boy is the same age as my dad, who played outside with no shoes in his youth.
