"There Is No Place I Would Rather Be on My Birthday than Lansing Michigan."

A review of Barack Obama’s energy plan.

I have concluded that the difference between George Bush and Barack Obama is that Barack believes his own lies. Barack is now quoting T. Boone. See last month’s discussion on wind power and $2 billion.

70 million barrels of oil from the strategic reserve is five days of consumption.

“I know that this sounds like pie in the sky.” No, Barack, it is pie in the sky. Good move on skipping the debates.

For the record, I think that we should leave our oil in the ground. The strategic oil reserve is two months of consumption. Offshore oil is twelve years plus of consumption. Those twelve years plus will be needed for the transition to the future.

I will repeat. Our future is nuclear power and electric railroads.

In the interim, I’ll cling to my guns and religion.
